Time does fly

2020 and what a year... I had planned as I do most years to get some racing in last year as Life had started to settle down. But alas family and other commitments did not really let that happen so I said to myself and the family that 2020 was going to be the year of more bashing and more racing... Boy Was I wrong...

It's May now and the global lockdown has stopped all racing. However, I have managed to enjoy a lot of bashing in our garden and I've finished a lot of cars off. All my lunchboxes/pumpkins are done, the mad fighter is up and running and new shocks on the way. I've even managed to get the faith shock mod done on a lunchbox. So it's actually been a really good few months for me and my love of this hobby. I've even managed to do some vids for the youtube channel, not as well produced as they could be as I'm very rusty but I'm hoping for more. I'm never the most constant of person but I'm excited about new RC projects and new places to take them.

Happy New Year!!

2018..wow..time flies...

I built the Mad Fighter and I've got two Lunchboxes on the go..I'm going to be running a monster tuck madness event at work which I'll post results etc here..gonna be a blast. that's not happening till spring so I hope to get some bashing done before then. I'm also re-joining Stonehaven RC club again after being away for almost 9 years so hopefully get some racing done too!!

Mad Fighter before decals... I've actually gone box art for possibly the first time ever :)

Winter season...

Summer has passed and I got maybe an hours of RC driving done :(... We have almost moved into the new house though but all my RC is in storage in the loft until I get the new shed built and sorted out... It's not really a winter job so we'll see how things go.

I still have the Mad fighter to build and some projects ticking away it's just a case of finding the time and the space :).

I've recently built a TT-01 roller that I think I will give some love and maybe join the local Dundee RC club. It's not buggies but it's racing :)

Long time no post

Just a quick update... What with starting the new job, helping to plan my wedding and buying a new house I've not had much time for RC.

Hopefully late summer I'll get some driving in and I have a Tamiya Mad Fighter to build. I've also got another build report to write and publish at some point.

So more to come :)

Moved to Dundee!

So..Back in Dundee after 6 years... I still have to un pack the cars and build shelving but I should have some more buggy related posts soon :).

On the horizon is a Tamiya Madcap restoration and and Tamiya Baja Champ project. Plus some bash reports from local spots with maybe the odd race report too now that I'm close to Stonehaven RC race track.

I'm currently really into Stadium struck so there might be further posts about some new trucks :D

Grasshopper II restoration.

Had fun cleaning and fixing this classic. I've used 1:18th scale buggy shocks and the work perfectly.
